Native English speaker (light Scottish accent) with experience in teaching online and in person to teenagers and adults. Lessons are flexible and tailored to students' interests and needs based on a conversational approach, or can follow a preferred textbook. Proven success in developing the understanding and use of English in daily life and in business settings, all contextualised within life in Scotland/UK.

I have taught for over 2 years and offer a relaxed environment to learn, and I am happy to answer any questions related to history, contemporary issues and life in Scotland/UK too.

I was born to Hong Kong Chinese parents who immigrated to the UK in the 1980s. I grew up in Scotland, and speak with a light Scottish accent. I learned Cantonese and Hakka alongside English, and as a result developed a passion for languages from a young age. I am now learning Japanese and Korean in my spare time.

I have several years experience working in contemporary art and culture, and also have an interest in history and travelling.
