Lessons are flexible and tailored to students' interests and needs based on a conversational approach, or can follow a preferred textbook. Proven success in developing the understanding and use of English in daily life and in business settings, all contextualised within life in Scotland/UK. Lessons are taught in English, however Cantonese is also offered for additional support if necessary.

Conversational and real-life English
I am a native British English speaker and use British spelling and grammar. I also use real-life examples and explain aspects of British and Scottish culture to contextualise English language learning. One of the best ways to learn English is through conversation as this allows students to naturally learn vocabulary and grammar that is used in every day situations. I can also support with understanding regional accents or common local phrases that might be heard.

Business English
I have several years of experience working in contemporary art galleries, which requires me to have a professional level of business English. I have also conducted interviews in a professional setting and understand the language used and what is expected of potential candidates.
