I am a patient, approachable, and supportive tutor who is passionate about helping students gain confidence in their own abilities

I offer a unique combination of academic knowledge, communication skills, and experience working with young people and the general public. From my psychology degree and MSc, I have gained the skills to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply, as well as planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. I am also experienced in breaking down information into bite-sized chunks and checking understanding along the way, which is a natural fit for tutoring. My internships with Adwaita Educare and Rowthiram have given me hands-on experience in learning and engagement. At Await Educate, I delivered webinars for parents and students, and was also experienced in handling open Q&A sessions at the end of each session, where I answered questions, clarified concepts, and provided practical advice. This experience has further honed my skills in thinking on my feet, communicating complex concepts clearly, and adjusting my responses according to the person asking the question. At Rowthiram, I started off as an intern and then moved on to a supervisory role, where I mentored and guided other interns, further developing my skills in leadership, responsibility, and mentoring. In general, my experience has helped me become a trustworthy, empathetic, and organized tutor who is dedicated to helping students not only improve academically but also build confidence in themselves as learners.
