I currently work as an Art tutor for a youth charity based in Glasgow and have a degree in Illustration from Leeds Arts University. I think its important to understand the individual(s) you're working with, what they're interested in, what they're drawn to.. or in contrast what they're completely unfamiliar with and would like to learn more about. I lead with very a very flexible and open approach to allow for students to make unexpected discoveries and stay curious. I incorporate both practical skills and art theory into my session plans to create a well-rounded arts educational experience.
