My lessons will be supportive, structured, and designed to help students grow creatively with confidence. Each session begins with a clear focus — whether that’s a weekly drawing task, a design exercise, or a step in a larger portfolio project, that way students always know what they’re working toward. I break down creative processes into manageable stages, using demonstrations, visual examples, and guided practice to help students understand both the techniques and the thinking behind their work.
With a background in MA (Hons) Architecture, I bring strong experience in drawing, model-making, digital design, research, and visual communication. This allows me to support students across a wide range of artistic skills, from early creative development to advanced portfolio preparation for art, design, and architecture courses. I also draw on my customer-facing and organisational experience to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. I’m patient, organised, and genuinely passionate about helping students grow.
Lessons will be primarily delivered online, using screen-sharing, live sketching, and collaborative tools to keep sessions interactive and engaging. However, as I am based in Glasgow, I can also commute for in-person lessons within the local area. My aim is always to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of direction in their work.
From detailed school projects on Glasgow’s derelict buildings to creating a Met Gala neckpiece concept, and later producing technical portfolio work at university, my creative journey across art and design has given me strong experience, versatility, and a thoughtful, research-driven approach.
