I am a light hearted and open minded creative practitioner with experience working with children, young people and adults and have previously ran a person-centred model where I let students bring to me what they would be interested in learning - whether that's advancing skills they already have, learning news ones, or developing ideas they haven't had the time to sit down and finish. With experience in a range of mediums from oil paints, acrylics, watercolours, block printing as well as printmaking techniques and experience with the Adobe Packages I can help students expand on their understanding of mediums and technology to finalise artists projects and challenge them in new ways of looking.

I can work in a weekly or daily homework format where briefs are written with outcomes to be met and we can review in small one to one critiques of the work, encouraging research into contemporary and historical artists to feed imagination and relevance of current trends. For those more design minded I can equally write design briefs and give technical lessons on using adobe software with screen share settings.

I encourage sketchbook keeping and daily drawing in all practises and can also advice on improving technique and building up a daily habit of active drawing to get ideas onto paper and turn these into final artworks.
As a freelance illustrator, painter and designer I bring with my life experience in the field and would love to share my knowledge of the vibrant art and design scene to life for students.
