Hi, I'm Andrew. I am a Law graduate from the University of Exeter, where I received strong marks in my degree, and I am currently completing my LLM with a particular focus on Agricultural and Business Law.

I offer friendly, engaging and personalised A-Level Law tuition for students looking to improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance.

Having recently completed my own legal education at undergraduate level, I understand that law can initially seem overwhelming. Cases, statutes and legal principles can quickly pile up, and knowing the law is only part of acheveing a strong grade; students also need to understand how to apply it effectively and structure a convicining exam answer.

My approach is therefore focused on making difficult legal concepts straightforward and manageable. Sessions can be tailored to each student's needs, whether that means working through a particular area of law, improving essay and problem-question technique, revising cases and legislation, or preparing for upcoming assessments and exams.

Communication is one of my particular strengths. Alongside my degree, I participated in university mooting for over three years, reaching the final of both the 2025 University of Exeter Autumn Moot 2025 and the 2026 All Exeter Moot. This developed my ability to analyse legal problems, construct persuasive arguments and, importantly, explain complicated legal issues clearly and logically.

I have also gained practical experience across solicitors' firms and barristers' chambers, giving me an understanding of how the law operates beyond textbooks and examinations.

Most importantly, I want lessons to be supportive and enjoyable. I am happy to adapt my teaching style to the individual student and identify the areas in which they need the most support.
