Classics and Comparitive Literature PhD student with teaching experience in higher education

I am currently completing my PhD at the University of Exeter in Classics and Comparitive Literature. I have extensive knowledge of literature across the ages, though I specialise in Classical literature and late-Victorian texts.

I offer tailored tutoring sessions to students at all levels. I am familiar with texts on the GCSE and A Level syllabi, and as well as teaching the texts, I can also help students to develop their analytical skills and academic writing skills.

I have a long history of tutoring in an informal setting, mostly for family, friends, and classmates at school. I developed these skills in a more formal setting during the third year of my undergraduate degree, when I joined the departmental 'family' system to help incoming students develop their academic skills. Currently, I am working as a postgraduate teaching assistant at the University of Exeter, having completed the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education course.

I offer online and in person sessions for students of English literature and language, translation studies, and/or classical literature.
