Advert description
Are you looking for an English tutor who can help your child succeed while enjoying the process? I hold a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, alongside a Grade 9 in GCSE English Literature and Grade 7 in English Language. I combine strong academic knowledge with classroom teaching experience to help students realise their potential.
As a former SEND Teaching Assistant, I know how to adapt lessons and strategies to suit every learner. I have extensive experience guiding KS3 and GCSE students through English content, lesson activities, and exam-focused revision techniques.
I have also worked with Oxford Summer Courses to design and deliver creative writing programmes for KS2 international students, focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, and the creative writing process.
Currently, I am a Poetry Hub Lead Facilitator with the Surrey Poet Laureateship, teaching young people and adults to explore, analyse, and enjoy poetry.
What makes my tutoring unique is a focus on making learning engaging and fun – I believe students learn best when inspired and confident. Lessons are tailored to individual needs, building skills, confidence, and exam success in KS3 and GCSE English.
