I am patient, approachable and attentive to individual learning needs, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and encouragement necessary to develop academically. My academic background in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution has equipped me with valuable research, analytical and communication skills. Studying History has also strengthened my ability to interpret information, explain events, understand different perspectives and present ideas logically. These skills are particularly useful when teaching subjects such as History, Geography, English and Religious Studies. I am confident in supporting primary school pupils with their schoolwork, homework and general understanding of key subjects. My approach involves breaking down complex topics into simpler explanations, using relatable examples and encouraging pupils to participate actively in lessons. I understand that children learn at different paces, so I am willing to adapt my teaching methods to suit their individual abilities, interests and learning styles. I can assist pupils with English by supporting their reading comprehension, vocabulary development, spelling, grammar and written expression.
