PhD Chemistry Tutor for GCSE, A Level, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher, PVG registered

Hi, I'm Sumit. I did my PhD in chemistry, and I've always liked explaining things almost as much as I like doing the research itself. I focus on GCSE and A-Level chemistry, as well as the Scottish exams: National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher, whichever board you're on.

Chemistry has a reputation for being one of those subjects where things either click or they really don't, and usually it's not because someone "isn't a science person." It's that a couple of key ideas got missed early on, and everything after that felt harder than it should have. That's normally the first thing I try to sort out.

Lessons are online, over video call, using a shared whiteboard so we can actually draw things out together: mechanisms, graphs, structures, rather than just talking at a screen.
