National 5 & Higher English - First One Lesson is !

I have an Honours Degree in English Language and Literature, and qualified as a Secondary English Teacher in 2013, with a PGDE from Aberdeen University.

Having taught English to S1 through to S3, National 5 and Higher since 2014 in Aberdeenshire schools.

Now I tutor part-time to allow me to focus on my own studies; allowing me to finish my Master's Degree in Art History with the Open University.

Having tutored for over ten years, I have experience of a wide variety of texts, and how to approach the exam questions. Also, focussing on RUAE which students can find challenging until the realise what is required of them.

Normally I set up a WhatsApp group with pupil and parent to ensure all communication is visible to everyone.

Please note - I will not write folios, and follow the SQA Guidelines regarding help a candidate receive. This is to protect you from being accused of getting help.

I charge £50 an hour for 1:1 visits - whether online, or in person.

Currently based in Aberdeenshire and I also spend a lot of time in Edinburgh.
