Hello! I’m Beth, and I offer engaging and supportive tutoring in:

· History (GCSE & A-Level)
· Oxbridge admissions preparation

I mainly tutor online, but I am also available for in-person lessons in Durham (during term time) and Derby (during breaks).

· BA in History – University of Oxford
· Studying for an MA in History – Durham University
· A-Levels: History (A*), Psychology (A*), Biology (A*), EPQ (A*)
· GCSEs: Grade 9s in all relevant subjects
· Fully DBS checked

· Extensive mentoring and access work through Zero Gravity, Oxford for East Midlands, and UNIQ – supporting GCSE and A-Level students from diverse backgrounds
· Worked as a Residential Advisor at Hertford College’s international summer school, teaching and supporting students from around the world
· Skilled in helping students improve confidence, structure essays, and develop critical thinking

I’m passionate about making History accessible and enjoyable, while also giving students the tools they need to succeed in exams and beyond. I’m keen to work with students to not only improve their grades, but also spark an interest in their studies.
