I am a native speaker of English and have 15 years teaching experience

I am a native English speaker and have taught adults and children since 2001. I believe that to teach a language as difficult as English; the speaker must be exposed to different dialects and forms of enjoyment. While grammar, diction, and vocabulary are important, they can be learned just as easily from comic books, cookbooks, and pop songs as they can be from Great Expectations. I must learn about my students' passions to be an effective teacher. Learning should be fun as well as challenging.
