Olivia Whelan - International Singing Teacher & Vocal Coach

Olivia is an internationally acclaimed soprano opera singer with over 30 years of professional experience, having worked with leading opera houses, orchestras, TV and Film and world-renowned conductors across the globe. She is the recipient of numerous international singing awards and is widely respected for both her performance career and teaching excellence.

As an award-winning singing teacher and vocal coach (based in both London and Wiltshire), Olivia offers expert and inspiring vocal training for amateurs and professionals of all levels, from beginners to advanced singers (Age 14 plus).

She teaches all musical styles (including opera, classical, musical theatre, and contemporary voice), combining elite classical vocal technique with practical, modern, flexible vocal coaching methods tailored to each individual voice.

Her students range from successful international stars of the Opera stage, West End and Broadway, Pop, R&B and Jazz, celebrity Radio and TV presenters through to talented amateurs who love to sing.

Olivia has an impressive track record in solving voice problems, vocal deterioration and re-training. She also works with a range of celebrity personalities, presenters and business people at building their presentation ability, vocal projection, communication skills and personal confidence.

Although she focuses on the technical elements of singing (including breathing, vocal support, posture, resonance and projection), she is more than just a typical singing teacher. She works closely with her students on performance skills, acting through song, communication, interpretation, repertoire, stamina and audition technique as well as the business elements of being a performer such as branding, personal marketing and career development.
