Qualified University Lecturer to support Psychology, and Health Psychology

Hello, I'm Alistair.

I have over 13 years of experience working in higher education, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Psychology, Early Childhood Studies, and Health-related subjects. I hold both an MSc and a PhD in Health Psychology and have supported students throughout every stage of their academic journey.

Over the years, I have worked in student support services, led year groups, managed modules, supervised dissertations, and acted as a personal tutor from enrolment through to graduation. This experience has given me a strong understanding of both the academic and personal challenges that students can face at university.

I have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds and have experience supporting learners with different abilities, learning needs, and circumstances, including neurodiverse students. My approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to the individual.
