I provide affordable and fun Spanish lessons to all age groups and levels!

I have a BA in Spanish and International Relations and love to use games, quizzes, songs, and creative elements to teach Spanish. While I also find it important to explain practical grammar and text book information, I believe everyone has a different learning style. In our first session, I will get to know a bit about you, your learning style, and goals for our sessions. I want to make the most of our time so we can be as effective as possible. According to your goals and needs, I will organize material specially for you in a way that would work best for you. I like to explain things visually and I am able to provide alternate forms of engagement such as singing for memorization, multiplayer games for a spark of fun competition, and movies and TV. Given my international relations background, I find it interesting to talk with students about issues that are important to them and how they relate to Spanish speaking countries. Language is meant to foster connection and understanding and I think that is important to remember at any level. Whether you are learning for fun, family, travel, or work, I am confident you will walk away from each lesson proud of yourself and your progress.
