I have a PhD in biosciences from the university of Nottingham, and my first degree is a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) qualification. I have tutored students from secondary school level to masters’ level using a social constructivist pedagogic approach to my teaching practice which involves high student engagement (face-to-face or remotely), leading to over 90% student satisfaction in my module evaluation surveys.
While teaching, I encourage in-teaching assignments with scenarios, pictures and other necessary tools to help my students visualize and further understand the topics being treated.Apart from being knowledgeable in Biology and subjects within biological sciences, I am an experienced university lecturer with over 10 years’ experience in research and learning in different subject areas including animal health, Infectious diseases of animals, biosecurity, tissue culture, animal production, parasitology, anatomy & physiology, physiological adaptation, animal health husbandry, reproductive physiology, and practical animal handling and other biomedical subjects.
