Patient maths tutor with 35 years teaching experience

Patient maths tutor with 35 years teaching experience. I have taught in a wide variety schools in the UK and overseas, so as well as KS3, GCSE and A level experience, I have also taught international courses including Edexcel and CIE IGCSE. I have been Head of Mathematics in two schools in the UK; one a state grammar school and the other a small independent school.
Alongside classroom teaching, I work as an examiner and team leader for Edexcel, OCR and AQA. This gives me in‑depth knowledge of exam specifications, mark schemes, and what examiners are really looking for. This allows me to help students develop effective exam technique, avoid common pitfalls, and maximise marks.
