GCSE Maths Tutor (All Exam Boards) Grade 9, Confidence-Building

Hi, I'm Mariia, a GCSE Maths tutor with 250+ hours of tutoring experience, both privately and through MyTutor. I got Grade 9 across all my GCSEs, including Maths, so I know exactly what the exam is looking for.

My approach is understanding-first: we find exactly where a topic stops making sense, rebuild it properly from there, and then practise with real exam-style questions until it clicks. I don't just hand over answers, I guide students to think it through themselves, so the knowledge actually sticks.

Lessons are calm and pressure-free. A lot of students aren't struggling because they "can't do maths", they've just lost confidence somewhere along the way, and getting that back is often what unlocks the fastest improvement. Mistakes are treated as a normal part of learning, never something to be embarrassed about.
