Spanish Tutor - KS1, KS2 and GCSE

I build strong, trusting relationships with students by combining academic expertise with a calm, supportive teaching style. My background in Spanish at Queen Mary University of London, where I achieved a 2:1, gives me a strong command of the subject, while my experience tutoring KS1–GCSE students online and in person has taught me how to adapt my approach to different learners and confidence levels. I also bring practical classroom experience from a school placement, which helped me understand how students engage in real educational settings.

In my lessons, I focus on making learning clear, structured, and goal-driven. I support students across all key areas of Spanish—speaking, writing, listening, and reading—using a combination of targeted explanation, guided practice, and exam-focused work with past papers to build both skill and confidence. I have successfully helped students improve from predicted GCSE grades of C to achieving A grades through consistent support and exam technique coaching. I take a patient, step-by-step approach, ensuring core concepts are fully understood before moving forward. My aim is always to create a safe, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and steadily improve.
