I hold a BSc in Information Technology and am currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University. This academic background has provided me with deep technical proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and Web Development, alongside a strong understanding of computer architecture and database management. My professional experience in fast-paced environments has honed my communication and organizational skills, allowing me to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a focus on detail and safety. My teaching philosophy is centered on ‘Learning by Doing.’ I move away from heavy theory by using live-coding demonstrations and project-based learning, where students build real-world applications or analyze datasets. I am a strong advocate for Scaffolded Learning—breaking down complex algorithms into manageable steps—and I use relatable analogies (like comparing data structures to a physical library) to ensure students of all levels remain engaged. I also incorporate interactive tools like Kahoot or GitHub to foster a collaborative and modern digital classroom environment.
