Advanced Maths Tutor | A-Level Maths, Further Maths, STEP, IB

I am a first-year undergraduate studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, with over six years of experience tutoring mathematics from A-Level and Further Maths to STEP, IB, and Olympiad preparation. As a British Maths Olympiad medallist, I have a strong background in advanced problem-solving and competition mathematics, which informs my approach to teaching. I place a strong emphasis on intuitive understanding of mathematical concepts, helping students move beyond blind memorisation of formulas and apply ideas confidently to unfamiliar problems. Having recently completed these courses and exams myself, I can relate closely to the challenges students face and draw on first-hand experience to explain difficult topics clearly and efficiently. My lessons are structured around each student’s individual needs, balancing interactive discussion with targeted exam practice to build confidence and achieve strong results.
