TEFL online tutor - easygoing and friendly

I am writing to express my interest in the English Online Tutor role. As a British citizen with ten years’ experience as a Biomedical Scientist in NHS hospitals and a Level 5 TEFL Diploma, I bring a distinctive combination of scientific precision and a passion for language education.
Currently, I am also studying for a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology online, with a focus on teaching English as a second language and the effective use of online tools in language learning.
My online tutoring practice is centred on delivering engaging, student-focused lessons via Teams, using Miro as an interactive board to enhance collaboration and visual learning. This approach fosters practical language use in a supportive, judgement-free environment, encouraging students to actively participate and build confidence.
My decade in the NHS sharpened my organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide tailored guidance – qualities I now apply to language instruction. I believe my unique background, British citizenship, and commitment to delivering impactful, interactive learning experiences would make me a valuable asset to your team.
