My name is Frank and I'm from the UK.

My main interest in life is books. From literary fiction and poetry, through to detective novels and sci-fi, plus a load of non-fiction books about history and current affairs; I'm obsessed with reading.

Traveling is also a big part of my life. I've been all over the world, but I now live back in my home country.

My teaching career began in 2020 when I completed my MA. I worked for a year as a teaching assistant in an elementary school in the UK. In 2021 I moved to South Korea where I taught English to elementary and middle school students. At the start of 2023 I moved to Chile where I started a job tutoring university students and other adult learners. Since, then I’ve been teaching people from all background: children from 7+, teenagers, university students and professionals

I'm TEFL certified. My lessons have a conversation based approach, where the focus is on speaking and listening. But, I can also help you improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, and increase knowledge of grammar.

I usually divide the lesson into two parts: lesson topic + open conversation. I'll teach you some new words, phrases, grammar and pronunciation, and then we'll have a conversation.
