I am a postgraduate researcher at University College London (UCL), where I completed an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience (3.8 GPA, top 10% of class). I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Neuroscience Emphasis) from UCLA, which I completed Summa Cum Laude (4.0 GPA, top 1% of class). I've spent years contributing to cutting-edge neuroscience research at UCLA, Oxford, and UCL, and have presented innovative work at international conferences across the UK and Europe. Importantly, my background in psychology has given me an acute understanding of the science of learning: how memory consolidates, why spaced repetition beats cramming, how anxiety disrupts recall, and what actually makes an explanation stick. I don't just know the content — I know how the brain absorbs it. That's what I bring to every session.

I've been tutoring science students since 2022, working one-on-one with high school students on projects submitted to regional and state science fairs in California. Those students went on to win multiple 1st Place awards, qualify for state competitions, and earn recognition from bodies like the Association for Women in Science.

I've also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Advanced Reading Comprehension and Biological Psychology for junior college students, leading weekly discussion sessions and providing individual feedback to students who were struggling to connect with the material.

My approach is simple: people don't struggle with science because they're not capable — they struggle because no one has found the right way in for them yet. Every lesson I teach is built around understanding where you are, what's blocking you, and moving forward from there in a way that actually sticks.
