Qualified Guitar Teacher and Professional Guitar Player

Welcome to my profile! I enjoy teaching students of all abilities and finding the right ways for them to reach their goals. I teach RSL and Trinity Grades (classical/rock and pop/acoustic). I also tutor for GCSE and A Level Music. However, if Grades aren't your thing we can learn songs, riffs, theory....whatever interests you! I have experience in many different styles and genres: rock, pop, classical, jazz, acoustic etc etc.

After studying and obtaining a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies, a MMus and PgDip I went into the world of professional playing.

My career has spanned 2 decades, recent highlights include working with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Proms with the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, West End Productions of MJ The Musical, Pretty Woman The Musical and We Will Rock You (Coliseum) as well working with artists such as Rumer and Toyah. I've also recorded guitars for various artists, some TV programmes and Netflix series.
