Advert description
I have strong communication skills and a solid academic background in biology and molecular sciences, which help me explain complex topics clearly and effectively. I have experience working in research labs where I trained and guided students in techniques such as PCR, cell culture, and microscopy. I’ve also created and presented scientific content for both academic and general audiences. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adaptable, aiming to make learning interactive and suited to each student's level and needs.
I am a postgraduate researcher with a strong academic background in Cellular & Molecular Biology, Biomedical Technology, and Microbiology, with over 6 years of research and teaching experience. I hold an M.S. in Cellular & Molecular Biology (USA), an M.Phil in Biomedical Technology (India), and have hands-on expertise in advanced laboratory techniques including histology, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, and microscopy.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I have taught undergraduate Molecular Biology labs, guided students through experiments, and supported them in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have also worked as an online tutor, teaching biology and science to different age groups, adapting my methods to suit each learner’s needs.
I specialise in:
GCSE & A-Level Biology (cell biology, genetics, human physiology, microbiology, ecology)
Undergraduate tutoring in molecular biology, neuroscience, microbiology, immunology, and biotechnology
Lab skills support (tissue preparation, staining, microscopy, PCR, western blotting)
Scientific writing (lab reports, essays, dissertations, and presentations)
My approach is student-focused, supportive, and flexible. I aim to simplify complex topics, build confidence, and help students not only achieve academic success but also develop a genuine interest in biology
