My lessons are aimed at 14-18 year olds either undertaking GCSE or A Level examinations in English Literature and Language.

I have been an English tutor for almost three years now. My lessons are highly tailored towards the individual, however I tend to go through the novels, plays and texts in basic detail before assisting students to plan and write responses. Each week, we will either write a response together or go through a piece of work that they have done in their own spare time, constantly bettering and improving their written work. I also believe in the power of passion, so in order to increase passion in the subject, my sessions are not strictly academic - we will discuss the texts in casual conversations, as well as practice creative writing and other creative exercises.
