History & Politics GCSE and A Level Tutor available immediately

Jack has 10 years' experience as a Teacher of History and Politics in UK schools. He has held Head of History and Head of Year 12 roles for several years and has developed an excellent understanding of the academic and pastoral support essential to each student's success. He has taught thousands of students in the last 10 years from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, from KS3-KS5 (GCSE & A-Level). Over half his 2026 GCSE History class (12 students) received grade 8 or 9, and many of his students have achieved A and A* grades in both Politics and History A Level. He is currently working full time as an online tutor with many A Level History and Politics students for the-academic year.

He also has experience as a Private Tutor and tennis coach, having spent years working in New Zealand and Peru. He believes in an individual-focused approach that considers students' personal ambitions beyond exam results.

He is fascinated by current affairs and the lessons to be learned from the study of history and believes that cultivating curiosity and open mindedness is the best way to unlock each student's potential. He is an avid reader and will likely be found with his head in a book or out on a long distance cycle or run. He is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning French after a recent move to Montreal, Canada.
