Experienced Native French Tutor Supporting Learners of All Levels to Progress

I am an enthusiastic and approachable native French speaker with a genuine passion for sharing my mother tongue.

My aim is to help you feel confident and supported while learning, with lessons tailored to your needs and learning style. I have a patient and immersive approach, with lots of opportunities using real world scenarios to develop speaking, listening, writing and grammar skills.

Alongside teaching, I work in the charity sector in Bristol, and have lived in the UK for 10 years. Outside of work, I play rugby, am currently training for my second marathon, and spend my spare time attempting to teach my kitten a few tricks — with mixed success!

My teaching approach is entirely student-centred and goal-driven. I begin by understanding what you want to get out of our sessions — whether that is improving your speaking, strengthening your writing, preparing for an exam, travelling in France, or planning a longer-term relocation. I strongly believe that motivation is the key to successful learning, and once we are clear on your objectives, I tailor every lesson to support them.

A typical lesson combines structured learning with practical application. We will usually start by revisiting key points from previous sessions, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar in a clear and accessible way. This is then reinforced through speaking practice, real-life scenarios, or targeted exercises, depending on your goals.
