I am a native English speaker with a degree in English Language and Literature and 40 years' experience as a writer and editor

I have a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in European Studies. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher although I haven't practised for many years.
I have 40 years' experience in journalism as a writer, editor, and proofreader, primarily for the Yorkshire Post, Britain's leading regional daily paper. I am currently working as a freelance proofreader, preparing articles for publication in academic journals, and helping students to write to an appropriate academic standard for theses and dissertations.
