Sophia Mihailovic

I’m an experienced, qualified English teacher with a Cambridge CELTA, a First Class BA (Hons) in English Language, and a specialist qualification in teaching Young Learners and Teenagers. I also work as a Trinity College London Speaking Examiner, so I have extensive experience assessing students and helping them understand what is needed to succeed in exams.

My lessons are personalised, practical and communicative. I adapt each lesson to your level, goals and interests, whether you want to improve your everyday English, communicate more confidently at work, prepare for an exam, or simply feel more comfortable speaking.

I believe lessons should be engaging and useful, rather than just focused on completing exercises. We’ll work on the language you actually need, with plenty of opportunities to speak and develop your fluency. Depending on your goals, lessons can include conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening and exam-focused practice.

I have experience teaching General English, Business English, ESP, Cambridge, Trinity and IELTS exam preparation, as well as working with both adults and younger learners.
