I am an experienced primary school teacher with a wide range of experience supporting children of different ages, abilities and learning needs. I am patient, understanding and approachable, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children. I am able to adapt my teaching to suit each individual child and help them feel confident and motivated in their learning. My teaching approach is supportive, engaging and tailored to the child’s needs. I will first identify their strengths and areas for development, then plan lessons that are clear, enjoyable and appropriately challenging. I use a variety of explanations, questions, activities and practical examples to help children understand new concepts. I will regularly check their understanding, provide encouragement and adapt my approach where needed, helping them make steady progress while developing confidence and independence.
