My structured lessons are aimed at GCSE maths students seeking to improve their understanding of maths and exam confidence

When working with a student, I begin by assessing their current understanding of a mathematical topic and identifying any misconceptions through targeted questions and examples. I then adapt my teaching to address their individual needs. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps using clear explanations and real-life applications to strengthen understanding. I also encourage active learning through practice questions and discussion to build confidence and improve long-term retention. I provide regular feedback and equip my students with the exam techniques and study strategies that helped me achieve a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and that I continue to use in A-level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. My objective is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and overcoming challenges so they can ultimately achieve their full potential.
