Experienced ESL Teacher for Adults (IELTS, Business, General A2+)

Hi, my name's Anisa and I'm a British / Canadian teacher with more than 20 years of experience teaching ESL to students from around the world.

I can improve your grammar, expand your vocabulary, and increase your fluency.

Whether you want to prepare a presentation for clients or colleagues, raise your band score in IELTS, or just feel more confident when speaking, I personalise all teaching material to be interesting and useful for you.

All classes are very interactive with lots of opportunities to use the new grammar and vocabulary in natural conversation. I design classes around your interests, which we will discuss in the first session.
I hope you like homework! I will always assign extra reading / listening / videos to give you more opportunity to expose yourself to language. It's not mandatory, but it's a very good idea to do it!

Exam preparation: IELTS (former examiner), PET, KET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, TOEIC.

Business English: B1+ (presenting, negotiating, interviewing, general office communication)

General English: casual chats, discussing the news, functional English for daily living, etc.

Speciality courses: pronunciation, creative writing, CV/cover letter writing, etc.

I hold an up-to-date DBS, but do not teach children under 16 years of age.
I can design a full curriculum for you if you want a more structured course.
