My name's Anisa and I'm a British / Canadian teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching ESL to adults.

If you are preparing to take the IELTS exam, trying to improve your presentation skills, or you just want to feel more confident communicating in English, I am sure I can help you.

I design all my classes based on my student's interests to make sure you are motivated to speak as much as possible. Engaging in natural conversation is how you will improve quickly and have fun doing so.
I hope you find homework fun, because I will also assign extra reading, listening, and writing tasks to help you get more practice with the language.

I specialise in teaching English to adults, specifically:
Exam preparation - IELTS, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, TOEIC. (note: I am a former IELTS speaking examiner)
Business English: presenting, negotiating, interviewing, and general office English to communicate with colleagues.
General English: natural conversations about your family, hobbies, the news, etc. The ultimate goal is to expand your range of vocabulary and increase your confidence, so you sound fluent and your meaning is clearly understood.
