Tutor for GCSE, A-level, Degree level English Language and Literature

I am a graduate of the top-ranking University of St Andrews, with First Class Honours in English Language and Literature. I have worked as a University Professor in English and have published books and articles on English. I have also served as an Examiner and as a University Admissions Tutor. Recently, I have proof-read MA, MSc and PhD dissertation from students studying at various universities: London, Birmingham, Warwick, and many more. I am familiar with the set texts and requirement for various English Language and English Literature exam boards: AQA, WJECS, EDUQAS, EDEXCEL, and OCR.

As a private tutor I have recently worked with a variety of students from primary school age (8+), through to GCSE and A-level. I am familiar with the set texts and requirement for various English Language and English Literature exam boards: AQA, WJECS, EDEXCEL, and OCR.

Also, I often work at a senior professional level with international students working towards an M.A. M.Sc. or a PhD. I have recently worked with students from India, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Jordan, and Iran.

I have 35 years' experience of teaching and lecturing (School/University). I am actively working as an academic researcher.
