Friendly tutor based in Birmingham to help children improve their maths skills.

I teach by identifying each student's learning needs and adapting lessons to their level. I use clear explanations, interactive activities, real-life examples and give regular feedback to help students understand things and learn from mistakes. I ensure them that making mistakes is normal and helps them to learn. I will also reward students for reaching their targets because I believe this is good motivation and a nice treat for them! I will also set homework so students can practise on their own and this will improve their independence. Motivation is also very important and I will always push my students to reach their full potential.
