Biology teacher with both research and teaching experience

I have completed my Ph.D. (biotechnology) from Shri Venkateshwara University (U.P.). I possess more than 7 years of experience in the fields of biology and biotechnology. My subject of interest within biology are Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, etc. I have pursued research in the field of plant biotechnology because I enjoy the application of logical thinking as a tool for exploring and satisfying my curiosity about the world around me. I believe that at the core of all successful teaching in biological sciences is the ability to convey the excitement of the subject to students in the classroom as well as in the lab, instilling in students a desire to learn more about subject. This requires an emphasis on the biological systems about which we still have an incredible amount to learn. In this context, as a teacher I aim to provide my students with the academic knowledge and necessary skills useful in biological sciences, including the ability to think and express oneself logically. I think it is important to engage the students in learning about biological sciences not only to expose towards the subject which they might be interested, but to foster a general understanding and appreciation for the world around us.
