My approach to teaching is specifically tailored to secondary school students (Key Stage 3 and GCSE). Having actively tutored mathematics since May 2024, I understand exactly where students typically face hurdles when transitioning to more complex algebraic and geometric concepts. Every session is built around the student's specific exam board curriculum. I focus heavily on breaking down abstract mathematical topics into clear, manageable steps, mastering tricky exam-style questions, and dissecting active mark schemes to maximise marks. Because I am currently undergoing formal university initial teacher training for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Secondary Education (QTS), I bring professional, up-to-date classroom strategies directly into my private tutoring. I create a supportive, highly driven environment where secondary students can confidently clear up misconceptions, build robust problem-solving skills, and achieve their full academic potential.
