Experienced and enthusiastic Maths teacher with a BSc( Hons ) degree, All As in A-level Mathematics, and a PTLLS teaching qualification’
Through many years of experience in teaching I have gained good communication and interpersonal skills. I find teaching Maths rewarding at all levels and enjoy the challenges it brings.
In my lessons I aim to enthuse and inspire my students and explain difficult concepts using simple and relevant examples.
My main teaching experiences include:
1. Our Lady of the Rosary College, Hong Kong (A-Level Pure Maths)
2. Ning Po No 2 College, Hong Kong (Year 7 – 8 Maths , Year 9 Physics )
3. Tutor Doctor (GCSE Maths Year 9 -10)
4. Chinatown Chinese Community Centre (10 week introductory Computer Course)

Teaching Method:
• Preparing tailored resources for each lesson, ensuring that the students remained both engaged and challenged. Regular feedback to the parents was also important. Students achieved very good marks in test, score increased by 20 %.
• Communicating learning in a creative fashion. For example, the lesson could involve the student playing the part of a banker whereas I was the customer. Inspire learner by introducing a quick method of adding from one to hundred by Carl Gauss when talk about adding sequence.
