I would describe myself as patient, supportive, organised, and approachable. I enjoy helping students build confidence.

My skills and experience strongly align with tutoring and supporting young learners. I have previous experience as a tutor at Kumon Tuition Centre, where I provided one-to-one and group support to students, explained academic concepts in an easy-to-understand way, and helped students build confidence and positive study strategies. I also prepared learning activities tailored to students’ individual needs. In addition, I have experience working with children as a Play Worker, where I supervised activities, supported children’s development, ensured safeguarding and safety, and built positive relationships to encourage confidence and engagement. I also have experience supporting children with SEN needs through play work and one-to-one interaction, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and communication skills. Alongside this, my studies in BA Hons English Language and Literature and my plans to undertake a PGCE, further reflect my passion for education and teaching
