Tutor for GCSE Maths, Biology & Chemistry and A-Level Biology & Chemistry online and in Barking from a student with 3 A*s at A level

I achieved three A*s at A Level in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, alongside strong GCSE results, and have experience teaching children through my work at a local community programme. I offer tutoring in GCSE Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-Level Biology and Chemistry.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and can include topic explanations, targeted revision, exam-style questions, past paper practice and exam technique. I focus on identifying areas where students are less confident and breaking challenging topics into clear, manageable steps.

I can support students with building a strong understanding of the specification, consolidating key topics, applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions and developing effective exam technique. Lessons are structured to strengthen understanding while giving students opportunities to practise and become more confident with exam-style questions.

I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt my explanations and teaching methods to each student’s confidence and level of understanding, helping them become more independent and approach their exams with greater confidence.
