I am a native English speaker from the United States, and I am interested in tutoring students who need additional support

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Life-Span Development. I am in my last semester of working towards a Master of Science in Education with a TESOL certification. I have already completed all the course requirements for the TESOL certification. I am very interested in gaining experience in helping students improve their English skills and gain confidence and comfortability in using English. I have been learning Korean for the past several years and currently have a conversation partner who helps me learn, so I have a particular empathy for the difficulties involved in learning a language. Additionally, I volunteered at my university to be a conversation partner for an international student. Since then, my conversation partner has invited me to her home, taught me about her language and culture, and attended a cultural event with me on campus. I love to learn and exchange cultures with others, and I want students to feel the care and respect I have for them in a variety of capacities.
