Hello!

I have almost completed the coursework for obtaining a Master of Science in Education with a TESOL certificate. I am passionate about language learning and want to make my students as comfortable and confident in the learning process as possible! I have not gained experience teaching as of yet, but I am excited to adapt and build my teaching and method repertoire as I develop myself professionally and determine what the students respond well to. I want to make my lessons as interactive as possible, which can often be more challenging in an online modality. However, I believe that tutoring sessions can still be fun, engaging, and efficient. I am proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint and have the ability to make exciting visual representations of items and concepts, and learning can also be integrated with audio and tactical techniques. Additionally, I wish to make the material as relevant to my students as possible. The more connections I can make between my students' lives and the content they are learning, the better application and retention will likely be.

I have spent significant time and energy learning a language, so I can deeply empathize with the challenges involved in learning a language. However, these challenges can help develop students both personally and academically! It would be a privilege to guide students as they seek to learn more about the English language.
