Native Mandarin tutor for beginners, conversational Chinese, and Traditional Chinese learners.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can feel comfortable practicing Mandarin naturally. My lessons focus on practical communication, pronunciation, and daily conversation rather than memorising large amounts of vocabulary at once. I enjoy using visual and interactive learning materials such as slides, images, daily-life examples, and conversation-based activities to make lessons more engaging and easier to understand. Since I am from Taiwan, I can also provide lessons focused on Traditional Chinese and prepare Zhuyin (Bopomofo) learning materials for students interested in Taiwanese Mandarin pronunciation and reading systems. As someone currently studying in the UK, I understand the challenges language learners may face and I always try to adapt lessons based on each student’s pace, interests, and learning goals.
