I am a History graduate from Exeter Versity with a Secondary PGCE in History teaching. I have spent 30 years teaching in independent schools such as Brighton College and maintained schools such as Haywood Academy where I was Head of Humanities. I have successfully prepared students for 13+ CE and scholarship exams for top public schools such as Oundle, Winchester and Harrow. My GCSE and A Level results have consistently been amongst the strongest in the schools where I have taught and I have enabled students to successfully apply to Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge. I'm a public examiner for GCSE English Literature and I am a Lead Examiner for GCSE History. I have previously examined A Level History.
