Mathematics teacher for age of under 16

I am a qualified and experienced Mathematics educator with secondary school teaching experience in Sri Lanka and UK education experience. I have a first-class BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree from Keele University and am currently completing teacher training leading to QTS with PGCE, which I expect to complete in 2027.

I have experience supporting GCSE Mathematics students, including GCSE resit learners during my degree placement. I have also completed an internship in a UK secondary school, giving me valuable experience of the UK education system and classroom environment.

I am particularly interested in supporting students who need to improve their mathematical knowledge, confidence and exam skills. I can adapt my teaching to the individual learner, explain mathematical concepts clearly, identify gaps in understanding and provide structured practice to help students make progress.

I am happy to provide Mathematics tuition both **online and face-to-face** and can support learners with GCSE preparation, GCSE resits, Foundation and Higher topics, homework and exam preparation.
