Rajeevi Navaneethan

I am a qualified and experienced Mathematics educator with secondary school teaching experience in Sri Lanka and UK education experience. I have a first-class BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree from Keele University and am currently completing teacher training leading to QTS with PGCE, which I expect to complete in 2027.

I have experience supporting GCSE Mathematics students, including GCSE resit learners during my degree placement. I have also completed an internship in a UK secondary school, giving me valuable experience of the UK education system and classroom environment.

I am particularly interested in supporting students who need to improve their mathematical knowledge, confidence and exam skills. I can adapt my teaching to the individual learner, explain mathematical concepts clearly, identify gaps in understanding and provide structured practice to help students make progress.

I offer supportive, structured Maths tuition focused on building understanding, confidence and exam skills. I can support students with GCSE Foundation and Higher Mathematics, GCSE resits, homework and exam preparation. I can also help students with Maths homework, including Sparx Maths, by guiding them through questions and helping them understand the methods rather than simply giving them the answers.

I am happy to teach students both online and face-to-face.
